Playoffs

Where the money is made

Phantasia Leagues playoff format is very basic ensuring easy understanding for even new fantasy football players.

Playoffs start at the end of NFL week 15 and are a tournament composed of the top ranked 4 teams in your league. If your league only has 4 participants, then all teams in your league will be in the playoff tournament.

Playoff seeding is determined by W-L record at the end of NFL week 15. The 4 teams with the best win-to-loss percentage will be part of the playoffs. If there is a tie between teams in win-loss record, points for (the amount of points a team has scored over the course of the season) will be used as the tie breaker. If this stat also results in a second tie, the team with the most points against (the amount of points scored against a team over the course of the season) will win the tie.

Important: The 4 teams with the best W-L record will make the playoffs after NFL week 15

Playoffs are tournament style with two rounds, meaning the top rated team will play the lowest rated of the 4 teams in round one, while seeds #2 and #3 will face off in the same round. After round 1, the two winners will compete for the championship prize, while the two round one losers will compete for 3rd place.

The winner of the championship match will be rewarded the league's first place prize.

The loser of the championship match will be rewarded the league's second place prize.

The winner of the 3rd place match will be rewarded the league's third place prize.

The loser of the 3rd place match will receive nothing.
