Building a Team

Building a team is the most important part of the game. The goal is to spend your salary on players who you believe will produce the best results in the game while not exceeding the contest's salary cap value. If a user is new to fantasy sports, Phantasia displays projected fantasy points and statistics to help guide them in the process.

Remember that you must have a wallet connected to finalize your roster and submit a contest entry.

NFL

For an NFL Football contest, a team will consist of the following positions :

  • QB (Quarterback)

  • RB (Running Back)

  • RB

  • WR (Wide Receiver)

  • WR

  • WR

  • TE (Tight End)

  • FLEX (WR/RB/TE)

    • You get to use your budget to select a WR,RB, or TE to fill this position

  • DST (Team Defense and Special Teams)

Your team's fantasy points are directly correlated to your fantasy players results in real, live games. The better your player performs in their real game, the more points they score for your fantasy team. The goal is to build a team that scores the most amount amount of points within your salary cap. Each player has an associated salary which is based on how well they're projected to do in the real game. This data is pulled from our sports data provider (SportsDataIO).

NBA

For an NBA Basketball contest, a team will consist of the following positions :

  • PG (Point Guard)

  • SG (Shooting Guard)

  • SF (Small Forward)

  • PF (Power Forward)

  • C (Center)

  • G (PG or SG)

  • F (SF or PF)

  • UTIL (PG,SG,SF,PF, or C)

EPL

For an English Premier League (EPL) Football contest, a team will consist of the following positions:

  • 2 Attackers (A)

  • 2 Midfielders (M)

  • 2 Defenders (D)

  • 1 Goalkeeper (GK)

  • 1 UTIL (A, M, D)

Baseball - MLB

For an Major League Baseball (MLB) contest, a team will consist of the following positions:

  • 2 Pitchers (P, SP (Starting Pitcher), RP (Relief Pitcher))

  • 1 Catcher (C)

  • 1 First Baseman (1B)

  • 1 Second Baseman (2B)

  • 1 Third Baseman (3B)

  • 1 Short Stop (SS)

  • 3 Outfielders (OF, LF (Left Field), CF (Center Field), RF (Right Field))
